Lego Minifigures Series 16 Spooky Boy Review

I'm still trying to review all of the minifigures in series 16 and out of the remaining few who would be better on a day like Halloween than the Spooky Boy. He is clearly intended to be a new friend for the Spooky Girl from series 12.

He is a very monochromatic figure with his colour palette consisting of mostly white, black and grey. His hair piece is very suitable for his character and is the same design as the Cyborg figure from this series. He has what I would describe as a sad confused look on his face. He is wearing a t shirt with a skull on it because of course he is and I love the use of the dual molded arms with stripy printing to give the effect he is wearing a long sleeve underneath. His legs are also dual molded to represent his grey jeans and boots. He also has a shiny studded belt and chain to keep his wallet secure and of course for fashion reasons.

Additionally he has a book of spooky tales with nice shiny writing on the cover. I'm not a fan of these books as they always seem to damage quite easily and they're difficult to put in a minifigures hand. He also has a spooky spider friend which is the same old spider design we've had for while now.

I really like this figure, he has lots of character and interesting fine details. He is a worthy addition to a collection of frightfully spooky minifigures. I hope everyone has great Halloween and remember to eat as much candy as you can, the inevitable tummy ache is future you's problem.
